Get ready #FTcrew L.A. Fashion Week is here!

This weekend marked the start of MADE Fashion Week in Los Angeles, and it was a weekend for the books. The highlights of the launch included the debut of Tyler the Creator’s first collection and the long awaited arrival of Moschino’s Mens and Resort 2017 collections.

Kicking off the weekend on Friday night was Jeremy Scott’s presentation of the combined Mens and Resort 2017 collection from Moschino. As the hometown favorite, Jeremy did not disappoint with his fashion tribute to the 60’s, the decade when the designer felt Los Angeles defined itself. Psychedelic bell-bottoms and decorated bomber jackets made their way down a runway accessorized with giant and vibrant pool floats. The show was truly an experience for its audience members, and definitely gave some inspiration for next year’s Coachella looks.

Following Moschino on Saturday was the debut of Tyler the Creator’s first show for his line, Golf Wang. This show was definitely a first of it’s kind, challenging the norms of fashion and really putting on a performance. Featuring a presentation of hilarious videos, skateboarding, and even a live performance from Tyler, Golf Wang challenged the entertainment aspect of fashion shows everywhere. The collection itself continued the theme of steering away from serious fashion, showcasing fun polka dot patterns and prints that remained simple and easy for the audience to picture themselves wearing. BTW… that audience included Kanye West, Kendall Jenner, and Janelle Monae, who were definitely enjoying themselves during the presentation.

The weekend was a unique tribute to Los Angeles, showing off its fashion forward designers and unique style. #obsessed
